Abstract: The coseismic response characteristics recorded by Putian gPhone gravimeter and VP wide-band tiltmeter were compared and analyzed. The results show that: (1)The delay time of coseismic response was negatively correlated with magnitude and positively correlated with epicentral distance. The variation of coseismic response duration and amplitude mainly depends on magnitude, but not necessarily related to epicentral distance;(2) The number of coseismic events recorded by gravimeter was more than that recorded by broadband tiltmeter. From the characteristics of coseismic response, such as duration of coseismic response, amplitude change and so on, the recording ability of gravimeter was better than that of broadband tiltmeter, but there was no difference in the delay time of coseismic response between gravimeter and broadband tiltmeter.
